TRAFFIC BUILDING TIPS FOR EXHIBITORS

Licensing International Expo is the world’s largest licensing event, delivering more than 18,000 qualified retailers, manufacturers and licensees. By including a booth at Licensing International Expo in your marketing plan, you’ve gained exposure to these decision makers. Now, maximize your exposure by including traffic-building tools as an important part of your show activities. You’ll see results!


BEFORE THE SHOW

    • Maximize your marketing efforts by taking advantage of one of the many sponsorship opportunities the Show offers.
    • Send out mailing inviting customers to visit you at the show.
    • Send an email broadcast and/or letter to your customers, encouraging them to attend the show and visit your booth.
    • Include a “P.S.” in all your outgoing correspondence including email. Sample: “We’ll see you at Licensing International Expo June 8 – 10 in Las Vegas! Visit us at booth #____.” This lets all your customers know you’ll be there and reinforces it when they open your mail.
    • Host a retailer. Want to make sure your top current or potential customer is at the show? Invite them to meet with you at the show and pick up their expenses. The goodwill you create in doing so increases potential.
    • Advertise. Promote your presence, not just in the mailings, but in your ads. In your March, April and May ads, invite your customers to visit you at Licensing International Expo and add your booth number.
    • Make appointments in advance. Contact customers and prospects ahead of time to make a personal appointment to meet you at the show.

AT THE SHOW

    • Advertise in the Official Show Directory to impact buyers planning their time at the show.
    • Place information kits in the Press Room for media exposure.
    • Rent an electronic lead retrieval system to efficiently handle all of your leads.
    • Show off your new products in a Brand Showcase.

AFTER THE SHOW

    • Follow-up, Follow-up, Follow-up! Send follow-up materials to attendees and media using the leads you generated at the Show.
